13 Car Bombs Across Iraq Wound 20 People

Happy New Year,

Amazingly no one was killed in the 13 car bombs that went off across Iraq today. However, 20 people were wounded in the attacks. As usual, there is no differentiation in the reporting of glancing flesh wounds, to very serious wounds, so it is not yet known if someone will die as a result of her/his wounds.

Even without a mere scratch to the skin, let me restate, that virtually every person in Iraq has indeed been wounded, at least emotionally/mentally. It was the seeds of fear that was planted into the souls of every person on the bridge on August 31, 2005 that killed 769 people and wounded over 300 when the mere rumor of a terrorist threat caused absolute chaos and people trampled each other and jumped to their deaths off the bridge. Please visit my Blog entry for that day for more details.

Have a nice day.
