49 Killed, Dozens Injured, 27 Decomposing Bodies found

Good morning,

Today at least 42 people were killed when martyr bomber walked inside a restaurant frequented by Iraqi policement. Among those killed most were civilians. They were sitting down to have breakfast.

At the same time a car bomb blew up 7 army recruites and injuring 13, in Tikrit, Saddams home town. Apparently these men were former officers under Saddam, and were rejoining to help the occupation.

27 corpses were found near the Iranian border. The corpses were in civilian clothes, bound, shot in the head, and appeared to have been dead for several days.

Groups of dead bodies are regulairly found in Iraq. Officials suspect that death squads from the Shiite majority or the Sunni minority are responsible for the killings. Since the interim government was formed April 28, at least 566 bodies have been found around Iraq , 204 in Baghdad, according to an Associated Press count.

So, on the day after the slaughter and triple martyr bombing in Aman Jordan where 56 were killed and 115 wounded in three American branded hotels, be sure, that the violence is alive and well in Iraq. Aman got the headlines and the sympathy because the slaughter took place in the Raddisun, Days in and Grand Hayatt. Mr. Bush called King Abdullah II on Thursday to express the United States' condolences for the injuries and loss of life.

When will Mr. Bush express his condolonces to the Iraqi people? When will Mr. Bush APOLOGIZE for putting Iraqi citizens under unrelenting seige?

Not in this lifetime.
